This version of test is provided such as is and without any guarantee.
" Although I think of having taken all the reasonable precautions not to disturb your system, abnormal operations can always arrive. It only rests on you to take all the precautions of use if your computer contains valuable data: back up, search for virus, checking of the files installed and possible desinstallation. In no case, my responsibility could be engaged by a damage to your data which could only result from an imprudent behavior of yourself. "
You take part in this test on a voluntary basis in order to improve, by your experience feedback, a tool which will be useful to a community of astronomers:
I tested it with a quickcam N&B, colors, VC, Express, Pro. I am interested by the results of tests with the other cameras.
The compositage output seems acceptable... Usage of FLAT seems to go (It remains to define one FLAT residing on disk). The processing of the BLACKs must still be improved..(I have difficulties with automatic calibration).
The "turbulence" window goes on "average quadratic " with a square of 16x16 in the center. A rustic algorithm adapts the 100% regularly (last max received or 98% of last the max )
Guidance doesn't work at the moment: just a demo of objectives.
The optimization of the memory remains to be made: if you have problems, avoid deep composite. The memory management (64k barrier) is of mine (ASTROQC.DLL): That goes on X86 but it is " owner ". No problem on 486, P1, P2... but what on another processor????
The delivered procedure of installation is simply a copy in a repertory... Might be better. One hopes to do better .
